Tim Courlas is a Producer/Director/DP, Documentary Filmmaker and Photographer.  He has made his living behind the camera since graduating from The Ohio Institute of Photography in 1980. After freelancing early on and then working for two production companies, Tim started his own video and photography business in January 2014.

Tim believes "Generalist" is not a dirty word. He photographs everything: products, portraits, architecture, reportage. His video work for health care, politics, education, manufacturing, financial and many others is equally varied. His clients can be assured that there just isn't much Tim hasn't run into before.

He has made several documentary shorts including a series for his hometown of Gahanna, Ohio - as well as a feature length film about Master Penman Bill Lilly, entitled, I’ve had my good day.

Currently, Tim is working as producer/director on Destination Preservation, a docuseries.
